This is a fantastic classic 1939 Chevy Master Deluxe Coupe Gasser race car for sale by Left Coast Classics. This Gasser is street legal, licensed & registered with a stock 250 HP 327 and a 350 Turbo transmission. 2 1/2" exhaust with Flowmasters.
Custom drive shaft, pipe rear bumper (Gasser Style), glass windscreen with plexiglass side & rears and a stock dash. Coil-over rear suspension, all steel (except rear fiberglass fenders). Engine set back a foot (10% of the wheel base), the drivers compartment is also set back 10%. Fiberglass buckets, and 10-point cage.
The suspension has a Tube Axle w/ disc brakes. 9" Ford rear-end, 5' traction bars. 4x15 Cragar's in front, and 15x10 Cragar's in the rear.
Unfortunately no racing history is known on this particular Chevy Gasser hotrod, though we have been told that it was raced through the 60's. There aren't many of these true hotrod racers left and this gasser is a beauty. All upgrades were done in the 80's and very few miles have been put on it since the 1980's.
The welding work on the frame is the best I have ever seen! This is a rare piece of automotive racing history and will make a fantastic addition to your collection.
