Beautiful 2011 Porsche 987.2 Boxster Spyder for sale. Positioned above the Boxster S, the Boxster Spyder was the lightest Porsche on the market at the time, weighing 2,811 pounds, 176 lb lighter than a Boxster S.

This was achieved through the elimination of the conventional soft top's operating mechanism, the radio/PCM unit, door handles, air conditioning, storage compartments, cup holders and large LED light modules on the front fascia.

Although some of these could be re-added to the car in the form of options. Weight saving was also gained using aluminum doors, an aluminum rear deck and the lightest 19-inch wheels in the Porsche pallet. The vehicle rides on a firmer suspension than the other Boxster models and is almost one inch lower in order to have improved handling.

A manually operated canvas top, carbon fiber sports bucket seats and two signature humps running along the back of the vehicle provide characteristic design elements.

This nice, California car was purchased new in Los Angeles. It is nicely optioned with Automatic Climate Control, Sport Chrono, 7-Speed PDK, Heated Front Seats, Sound Package Plus, Bluetooth, Bi-Xenon and more. It has a clean Carfax report showing regular servicing and attention since new along with the current owner records, available here.

All services are current and the car is ready to enjoy now. Comes with a clear, California title, original window sticker, service records, books and both sets of keys.

The car starts runs and drives beautifully with excellent shifting and suspension. The 3.4L H6 engine is strong, smooth and sounds fantastic producing 320 HP with 273 lb-ft torque with its great-sounding factory. The 7-Speed PDK shifts great.

The exterior is accident-free and looks great with a nice shine and excellent trim and glass. The interior and leather are immaculate with minimal to no wear on most surfaces.

Given the very short and limited run of these special Spyder models this one is sure to only increase in value over time.
