Nice driving 2003 Mercedes-Benz 500SL Convertible for sale with only 42,000 original miles. Includes books and many records and a clean carfax showing clear title and no issues. Current owners for many years.

This SL starts; runs and drives wonderfully. The 24 Valve 5.0 Liter V8 runs smoothly and quietly. The brakes and suspension feel great providing excellent handling. It has a newer pair of rear tires, the fronts are fine for now but will need to be replaced sometime in the near future.

The interior is immaculate. The leather is in excellent condition, even the driver side bolsters still look excellent. The wood is also extremely clean, the sign of the car being regularly garaged and the top kept up. The dash, panels, carpet all look fantastic, well above average condition, very nicely cared for and preserved.

All in all the interior is beautiful. Everything in the car is working properly, air conditioning blowing ice-cold and the power top is in good, working order.

The paint has nice deep shine. There are a few scuffs here and there though nothing major and to be expected after 16 years. The rear bumper appears to have been resprayed at some point and there is a shallow ding on the outer edge of the right-side headlamp that can be seen if you look closely. Otherwise, no sign of accidents or repairs and none reported. Overall this Mercedes R230 is a nice looking car.
