Beautiful 2002 Jaguar XKR Supercharged Coupe for sale with only 35,954 original miles. This one-family-owned, low-mileage Jaguar was sold new at Marin Luxury Cars in Corte Madera, California with an MSRP of $79,465. This special example has averaged just under 3,800 miles per year since new.
It still wears its original, attractive Aspen Green finish and immaculate Biscuit leather interior. It includes the original books, manuals, and navigation CDs. The car was fully serviced in 2010 and soon after the tank was drained and the car was put into long-term indoor storage. We purchased the car from the son of the original owner and have serviced it with new fluids, belts, tires, and whatever was needed to ensure its safety and reliability.
The 370-horsepower, 4.0-liter supercharged V-8 starts and runs beautifully. The shifting, suspension, and braking all perform flawlessly. Because of its ability to get from 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds, I installed a brand new set of sticky, high-performance Continental Extreme Contact tires, 245-45ZR18 up-front and 255-45ZR18 at the rear. This supercharged XKR makes this car nothing short of exhilarating to drive!
Because the car spent its life indoors, the original Aspen green paint shows well and has a brilliant shine all around. It has some minor imperfections due to its age, namely a small ding below the driver's side taillamp that my paintless dent removal guy was able to get out. We did a small amount of hand touch-up that is only noticeable from up-close. Also, we understand that in 2003 a lower control arm was damaged in a parking lot and replaced with no sign of any other damage. Overall this is a very well-preserved, stunning-looking XKR.
The interior is immaculate with no odors other than the intoxicating British wood/leather scent. The leather is immaculate throughout with just some minor wear on the driver's seat, the wood is exceptional everywhere and the rugs show virtually no wear. The headliner was just replaced due to sagging. The steering wheel has no scuffing and presents beautifully along with the dash, gauges, door panels, cards, and all the rest. The cockpit of this pretty Jaguar will not disappoint.
The XK was based on the Aston Martin DB7 that evolved from an abandoned XJS replacement program (the XJ41/42), the XK8 looked and drove similarly to the Aston, but retained the distinct and beguiling Jaguar character at its core. An amazing, exotic high performance car for a fraction of the price. Be sure to check out all 300 photos and the video below.
