Rosso Over Nero 1993 Alfa Romeo Veloce Spider for Sale

This 1993 Alfa Romeo Veloce Spider for sale was purchased new in the Bay Area, finished in Rosso over Nero. Its long-term 23-year owner purchased it in 1998 with just 28k miles. It has a new cloth soft top, new tires, and belts and presents nicely.

Includes an owner's manual and a clear, clean California title & Carfax report. I purchased this Alfa into my inventory in October of 2021 and found myself really enjoying the car and decided to keep it for a while. A new convertible has come into my life so I've decided to let this special little Alfa go.

The fourth generation cars were the most refined and included Bosch Motronic electronic fuel injection, electric cooling fan, on-board diagnostics, power steering, larger knee bolsters, driver-side airbag, 15" alloy wheels, air conditioning, and a cloth top.

The 2.0 L Twin Cam I4 DOHC 1,962 cc engine starts up and runs smoothly. New drive and power steering belts were recently installed and the fluids are clean. The 5-speed transmission shifts fine though I believe the 2nd gear synchro is worn yet resulting in lower RPM downshifts. It has a new battery and a new set of Yokohama tires with just a few hundred miles and the handling is nice.

The Rosso paint has a nice shine and the car has a very nice overall appearance. The previous owner stated that she had a minor accident years ago that affected the right side of the front valance and lower fender area. It looks to have been properly repaired.

The factory alloy wheels are in very nice condition along with the trim, lenses, and emblems with normal wear. I just replaced the cloth soft top and it looks great with excellent fitment. (Please note that a few of the interior shots were taken a couple of weeks prior to the installation of the new top) Overall the exterior looks very attractive and presentable.

Inside the Nero cockpit appears all original and shows well. All gauges are in excellent working order with the exception of the oil pressure gauge. (My Alfa Romeo specialist stated that these gauges rarely read properly and confirmed that the car has good oil pressure)

The air conditioning is ice cold, the heating system works great and the power windows move up and down with ease. The factory stereo powers up but needs a security code which I do not have. The car is very comfortable and nice to be in.

The car ships from my Southern California warehouse in Costa Mesa. I'm happy to facilitate a local, third-party inspection.
