Top of the Line 1992 Range Rover LSE for Sale

Very well cared for, 1-owner 1992 Land Rover Range Rover LSE for sale finished in Brooklands Green with a Connelly leather Lightstone interior. This lovely Range Rover LSE (Light Stone Edition) was only available for the 1992 model year and was the top-of-the-line model. Only 400 LSE were imported into the US. The LSE was a $4,000 upgrade and included the following upgrades: Heated Front Seats, Auto-Dimming Rear-View Mirror, ABS, Anti-Sway bars, front and rear rock guards, and American Walnut on the shift knob and door panels.

In addition, the U.S. LSE models all had the 100” wheelbase. This example was purchased brand new at R.A.B. Motors in Marin County by a doctor who has driven it regularly while fastidiously maintaining it throughout its life. It includes 186 pages of service records totaling over $71k spent caring for it (not including a repaint and its new engine) dating back to 1996 along with a clean Carfax report and a clear, California title. The odometer reads accurately at 149K.

This Range Rover starts, runs, and drives beautifully with excellent suspension, braking, and handling. A 2nd generation 4.6L Rover V8 was sourced from a totaled HSE with only 2,000 miles and was installed at 94k miles using the original "3.9" top housing to keep it looking original. It now has 57k total miles. The original 3.9L V8s had a meager 182hp while the new 4.6L transplant increased the horsepower by nearly 25% to 225 hp, a noticeable improvement. This classic County is in superb mechanical condition.

The exterior shows well. It was beautifully and properly repainted several years ago and has a nice shine, no rust, and good original trim and glass. It has a newer set of painted alloy wheels purchased through Rovers West and wrapped in Cooper 255/55-R18 tires with 95%+ tread remaining. Auxiliary foglamps have been installed up front and a brush guard with rear lens guards and towing package. The undercarriage is original and tidy with no rust or issues.

The original interior is well-preserved with a nice dashboard, leather seating with no tears, good original wood, rugs, headliner, and panels. All the gauges and instrumentation are in good working order including the original stereo and the sunroof. It has an aftermarket backup camera with the monitor installed on top of the dash.
