Take a Closer Look at this 1988 Mercedes Benz 560SL for Sale
Very nice 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL R107 for sale now. Purchased new at Smyth European in San Jose on May 20th, 1988 as a 40th birthday present, this pretty SL has enjoyed the same ownership since new and has averaged barely over 3,000 miles per year. It comes with books, service records from new and hardtop.
The panels all wear their original factory paint. There have been no accidents and there is no rust. According to the owner, this is the first time that the soft top has been up! It looks amazing, the stitching and embossing are like new.
The hardtop has been on the car most if not all of its life, she cannot remember it ever being off. All in all the exterior is in beautiful shape, especially considering its 31 years.
The interior is also all original and in very good condition. Everything is in working order, even the A/C blows cold. There are a couple of small cracks in the dash though nice quality molded dash caps are readily available if desired. The interior has no unpleasant odors, rips or tears. It looks wonderful and is very comfortable with the scent of vintage, German leather, and wood.
This is a wonderful classic 560SL, the best of the R107 cars and will be a welcomed addition to any collection or enthusiast. Financing and shipping options are available.
