1987 Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio Spider for Sale

Very nice and original 1987 Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio Convertible for sale with just 71,900 original miles. This high-performance "four-leaf clover" sold new in Texas to its original owner who then brought the car to California where it has remained since. It is currently titled in Nevada to its owner's second home but lives garaged and lightly used here in the Sonoma, California wine country.

It includes a nice cache of service records dating back to 2005 showing consistent servicing throughout its life, a clean, accident-free Carfax report, and a clear, Nevada title. This Series 3 Spider is finished in Black with both black hard and soft tops; gray leather upholstery with red stitching and red carpeting.

The Quadrifoglio Verde (Green Fourleaf Clover) model was introduced in 1986, with many aesthetic tweaks, including side skirts, mirrors, new front, and rear spoilers, hard rubber trunk mounted spoilers with an integral third stoplight, unique 15" alloys, and optional removable hardtop. Different interior trim included blood red carpets and gray leather seats with red stitching.

The exterior is rust-free and in very good condition, it appears to have been garaged throughout its life. The soft top is in very nice shape, appears to be original with tidy stitching, a clear rear window, and excellent fitment. The hardtop has an excellent headliner and a nice shine but common for the fiberglass hardtops there are some paint anomalies toward the front as shown in the photos (but not noteworthy enough to require any attention in my opinion).

The car still sports its original factory 15" alloy wheels wrapped in a nice set of Yokohama tires with 90%+ tread remaining.

The 2.0L I4 F DOHC with Bosch electronic fuel injection starts and runs beautifully with excellent power, shifting, suspension and braking. It is wonderful to drive this post-modern Spider in both the city and the highways.

The interior of this Quadrifoglio is in lovely condition with its systems in good working order; power windows, heating, cold air-conditioning, etc. The radio turns on but there is no sound, a good opportunity to replace with a modern alternative with Bluetooth and streaming capabilities. Otherwise, all systems function wonderfully.

It has a small tear in the drivers' side right lower bolster. Otherwise, the door panels, cards, rugs, console, and crack-free dash look great. The car includes Alfa embroidered floormats, a carpet dash-cover, and a new set of genuine high-quality sheepskin seat covers for cozy off-season cruising. Please note that the factory boot cover is included though it needs a snap or two installed to fasten properly over the lowered top.
