California 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera for Sale

This 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera for sale has been a California car since new. Finished in Iris Blue with a blue and tan interior. Includes both original-issue blue and gold California license plates, service manual, and 80+ pages of service records and a Carfax report.

The exterior shows well and is very straight with smooth and glossy Iris Blue paint, trim, and all Porsche Sekurit glass. The car sustained some damage to the driver's side in the owner's driveway in 2001 and looks to have been very nicely repaired to factory standards.

Also, the passenger side mirror has been resprayed. The Fuch wheels are in excellent shape wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sports with 225/50 ZR16s at the rear and 205/55 ZR16s upfront.

Inside shows well with nice seating, door panels, cards, and original carpeting all nicely preserved with some expected wear. All switches, lights, and gauges are in good working order, in October of last year the odometer failed and was just repaired. We estimate that only 200-300 miles at most were added during the last few months. The A/C blows cold and all systems are in good working order making it very comfortable to drive.

The 3.6L H6 fires up and runs strong. The underside of the car is dry and clean. It had a recent and successful emissions test, oil change, brake fluid service, and new wiper blades installed and will be delivered with new hood shocks as well.

Braking, and suspension all feel great and while the repair order from 2021 indicated clutch chatter and a weak 1st gear synchro, I did not detect this in my several drives. However, I always welcome and encourage a pre-purchase inspection and will be happy to facilitate. Overall it is an excellent driving 911.
