Finished in its original Grand Prix White (L908) over black interior (YE), this 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera embodies the purity of the early 3.2-liter cars. Factory-equipped with its California-spec 3.2/915 drivetrain, front and rear spoilers, black headliner, and 16-inch Fuchs alloys, it remains true to how it left Stuttgart.
Believed sold new in Southern California, it has lived an easy life and now shows just 66,210 original miles. Documentation includes around 50 pages of records, a replacement set of books, a clean Carfax report dating back to 1991, and a clear California title. The current owners—longtime German-car enthusiasts—have fastidiously cared for it since 2007, performing regular fluid services and driving it sparingly, adding only about 2,000 miles in nearly two decades.
Under the decklid, the 3.2-liter flat-six runs beautifully, smooth and quiet with excellent compression ranging from 174 to 181 psi across all cylinders and minimal leak-down. The 915 five-speed gearbox shifts crisply through a short-shift kit with no grind or hesitation, and the clutch feels solid. Brakes and suspension are tight and confidence-inspiring, with recent service including an oil change, brake fluid flush, and an air-conditioning conversion to R134a with new condenser and evaporator.
The Grand Prix White paint shines with great depth and consistency, complemented by excellent trim, glass, and rubber. The original Fuchs wheels are wrapped in a brand-new set of Continental ExtremeContact tires (225/50R16 rear, 205/55R16 front). Both the front trunk and rear deck struts are new, and the underside remains impressively clean—still showing traces of its factory cosmoline in several areas.
Inside, the black leather cabin presents beautifully. The seats, carpets, door cards, and dash show light, honest wear consistent with its mileage. All gauges, switches, and accessories function properly, and the air conditioning blows cold following its recent service. The trunk area is complete with carpeting, spare, and the factory sticker intact under the hood.
Carfax, service Legacy, and previous repair orders in reverse chronological order are all available upon request.
