2-Owner, California Car Black Plates, Rust Free, 120k Miles
This Sporty Rover TC has SOLD
1967 Rover TC2000 P6 Saloon for sale from Left Coast Classics
1967 Rover TC2000 P6 Saloon for sale in Sonoma California. This is just a two-owner car that includes all of the books and manuals, even the ORIGINAL CALIFORNIA PINKSLIP FROM THE FIRST OWNER! (See photos). Car was purchased brand new at Don Hampton, Inc. in Palo Alto, California on August 25th, 1966.
Nicely preserved 44 year old unmolested Rover TC with what appears to be mostly, if not all original paint and interior with 120k original miles. Starts; runs and drives nicely with no smoke and plenty of power. It does have a few items that will need attention such as the clutch is feeling a bit worn, clock does not work and the fuel sender is not accurate. Paint is patina'd but very cool looking as-is, front driver seat needs to be re-upholstered and passenger seat leather is hardened.
The black plates tell us it has been a California car since brand new. Body is solid with no rust or rot. This is a very usable car as-is and also a terrific example for restoration. The incredible pedigree, having lived at the same exact address with the orginal owner from 1966 until October of 2009 is just incredible! Asking $4500/offer. Open to trades, give me a call.
