Unique 1967 Citroen 2CV Charleston Clone for Sale

Cool little 1967 Citroen 2cv Charleston Clone. From what we understand a man was importing 1960s chassis 2CVs into the US in the 1980s and converting them to Charlestons when smog controls made it impossible.

They were converted with the later 602 engine, modern interiors, and dash clusters and refinished in the Charleston exterior scheme. We believe this car originated in Belgium. This is believed to have traveled 36,600 km since its conversion roughly 40 years ago. It has been under the care of its current California owner for the last decade.

The 602cc motor starts runs, and idles smoothly with plenty of power. The braking and suspension feel good and the shifting is smooth. Currently, it is riding on Michelin 125 R15s with plenty of tread though they are aged and should be replaced. Otherwise, it's a nice driving little car and looks to be in good working order.

The interior conversion has held up well despite some thinning and fraying in the rear seat top due to sun fade. Otherwise, it's comfortable with nice seating, panels, switches and knobs, steering wheel, rubber mats and headliner. The trunk is in nice shape, spare, jack, and box of extra parts included.

The exterior is straight and shiny with a few weathered areas yet overall presents well. The top works nicely and looks great. The glass is clear and the flip-up windows work nicely. This is a nice, fun driver-quality 2CV ready to enjoy.
