Triple Black 1967 Buick Riviera GS for Sale

Nicely restored, 2-owner 1967 Buick Riviera GS for sale in triple black with 116k original miles. Sold new May 19th of 1967 to its first owner in San Mateo, California then purchased by the current owner's family in 1972.

Refinished in its factory black in the early 2000s. Includes registrations dating back to the early 1970s, owner manual & warranty book with Protecto-Plate.

Unfortunately, there was an accident in 1999 that rendered an estimate of $3,500 to repair the front of the car and a battle ensued with the insurance company resulting in them issuing a salvage title. We have the new title and the description saying the car did pass the rebuilt inspections and title went from "salvage" to "salavaged" which means the same as "rebuilt" or "prior salvage". The affected body panels were the hood and the front right fender along with the radiator support, bumper, and trim upfront, all look to have been replaced and nicely installed. (Repair order available upon request).

The exterior was beautifully restored and the body is razor-straight with a brilliant shine and excellent panel alignments. The chrome, trim, and lenses show well and the vinyl top is in very nice condition, likely replaced during the restoration.

The car rides on its original chrome rally rims wrapped in Goodyear P225/75 R15s with plenty of tread though they should be replaced due to age. This Riviera shows well.

The interior was refreshed during that time with new upholstery and rugs. The door panels, cards, and headliner present well. The dash is in very nice shape with working gauges and recently charged, cold air conditioning; the upper and lower vents are working, the center vents are not. The radio turns on but does not get reception and the power antenna stops short of fully retracting. Otherwise, it is very nice and comfortable inside.

The 430 cubic inch 7.0L V8 (with the Star Wars air cleaner) starts, runs, and idles smoothly. It has plenty of power and strong compression readings of 170-180 psi across the board. The 3-speed TH-400 shifts smoothly through the gears. Some exhaust leaks are present. The brakes were just serviced, and the suspension feels tight and responsive, making this a nice-driving classic Riviera.
