Beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible. The paint is shiny and smooth and the interior looks great with the rare center console/4-speed combination. The Pont interior is in excellent condition.
The car starts, runs and drives terrific with nice suspension providing a solid, safe ride. The car is believed to be a GT. At some point in the past, someone drilled out the "C" of the vin on the fender rail. As a result, the California Bureau of Auto Repair added a California tag which utilizes the original vin.
The title is clear and reflects the correct vin. We believe that someone was attempting to make this a"K" code car because the door plate reflects a "K" instead of a "C". (If the car will be exported, we can remove the data plate showing the "K" and replace it with a new, factory type correct data plate).
This super attractive Mustang Convertible shows well and drives beautifully. There is a small amount of floor rust under the driver side to the left of the seat. (Closeup picture included in the Close-up Gallery slideshow).
We can have this professionally repaired prior to delivery for about $800 upon request. Otherwise, the car is rust-free and fantastic!
The car is available for inspection in Sonoma, California.
Thank you for visiting!
