Nice 1965 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Coupe for sale. This big block California C2 was originally a 327ci small-block 4-speed car assembled in St. Louis and finished in Nassau blue. It still wears its original, California-issued black and gold license plates since new. This is a fantastic performing, well preserved California car with some serious upgrades.

By far the nicest handling C2 I've ever driven, this classic Corvette was professionally upgraded to a very robust 425HP 396 cubic inch big block using a 1966 4-bolt main block, heads, and intake manifold. Shifting is quick and tight via a modern Tremec 5-speed manual transmission making shifting a breeze and providing that extra gear for relaxed highway cruising and a positraction rear end.

It has dual aluminized side pipes by Allen's Stainless Exhaust, super responsive 4-wheel power disc brakes, and power steering. The car runs nice and cool with an upgraded aluminum radiator and electric fans and rides on a classic set of knock-offs wrapped in P235/60R 15's raised letter BF Goodrich Radials. This is the perfect C2 for someone looking for a car they will love to drive.

The exterior is an older repaint of its original Nassau blue. The chrome and stainless trim, glass, lenses, and rubber all present nicely. The bonding strips and body are in nice shape all around along with the undercarriage. The car has been rebadged to reflect its big block conversion.

Inside the blue leather is soft and supple. It has nice panels, a clean dash, and everything in the car is in good, working order including telescopic steering wheel, lighting, power windows, radio, power antenna, clock, and gauges. It seals up nicely, the air conditioning and heating systems work well making this is a very comfortable Corvette for even long, cross-country road trips.
