......More Classic Austin Healey for Sale Below.....
1965 Austin Healey 3000 BJ8 for sale from Left Coast Classics in Sonoma California. Most recent owner purchased from local owner here in California around 15 years ago and has driven approximately 15-20k miles since.
This Austin Healey 3000 has been on several long trips over the years, most recently to Lake Tahoe and back. Car starts and runs well with no smoke and plenty of power. The clutch feels good, the overdrive works. The transmission was rebuilt about 12k miles ago.
Braking and suspension feel solid, car is a pleasure to drive and sounds healthy and strong. It has a newer, cloth top with a nice and clear zip-out rear window. Functional interior with wear, excellent wood. In dash radio inoperable, aftermarket system installed under-dash.
This is an older, driver-quality repaint with some orange-peel and some expected blemishes, chips and scratches for it's age. Appears that the car was previously painted yellow but when I look deep under the dash, it looks to have originally been the same color it is currently, Ice Blue. Solid Dog legs, frame and floors with no signs of rust or accident repair.
See extensive photos of the undercarriage, doglegs, etc in slide-show area below. Available for inspection, questions or over-the-phone walkaround.
