Very attractive, two-owner California 1964 MGB for sale. The original owner passed away several years ago so his wife who knew how much he loved the car had it fully restored by Original Duplicates British car specialists in Fresno, California and includes a full set of photos and 95 pages of detailed receipts documenting the entire restoration totaling tens of thousands of dollars.
A labor of love for a very special little car. The second owner purchased the car last summer to relive the fun with one he had in the past as a young man. Unfortunately, when the shippers delivered the car he found that at 82 years old it was just a bit too difficult to get in and out of.
The car is very nicely restored and was completely stripped to a bare shell for the restoration and included engine, boot, jambs, etc. The body is very solid and the paint on a scale of a 1-10 I rate at 7. The chrome, trim and rubber all restored or replaced, wheels powder-coated, detailed and extremely tidy.
The car drives beautifully and has had absolutely everything rebuilt or restored including motor, brakes, suspension and all ancillary items. It is a wonderful driving B; tight, responsive with plenty of power.
With just two owners and a lifetime spent in inland California, this special little MGB is sure to be a great find for someone looking for a solid, reliable car with a very short owner list. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have.
