1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible for sale. Originally a California car, this beautiful Thunderbird was restored by T-Bird restoration specialist Ken Harkema of Ken's Classics Vintage Thunderbird Sales & Service of Spring Valley, California in the early 2000's for a local client.

According to Ken he did extensive work on this car including rebuilding the motor, top relay conversion, paint, chrome and interior.

Born in Diamond Blue, this very pretty car was treated to a full and complete color change to Wimbledon White. The body and paint were beautifully restored; smooth and glossy with excellent panel alignments.

Much of the chrome appears to have been replated at that time though there appears to be some original pieces as well. Overall the car is very attractive and totally rust-free.

Highly optioned T-Bird has power windows, 4-Way Power Driver's Seat and SelectAire Conditioner, Rear Fender Shields, Safety-Convenience Control Panel which includes Vacuum Door Locks, Door Ajar Warning Light, Low Fuel Warning Light and Simultaneous Flashing Parking and Taillights. Also has 4-way emergency hazard flashers, passenger's outside door mirror, real Kelsey-Hayes chrome wire wheels, wide whitewall radial tires and steel fender skirts as well as front bumper/grille guards.

This Wixom, Michigan built Thunderbird runs beautifully with it's rebuilt, 390ci 4V V-8 and the C6 Cruise-O-Matic transmission shifts correctly and precisely. It's factory 9" highway- friendly 3:00:1 rear-end works perfectly. This is a very pretty, reliable classic that is ready to enjoy!
