Equipped with its original numbers matching 327ci V8 with engine number 2107965/F0227RC (Built February 27th) and the correct block casting code of 3782870 along with its factory matching numbers 4-Speed manual transmission stamped 2017965/WB1922. The car starts; runs and drives beautifully with no issues whatsoever.
The list of mechanicals addressed during the restoration is exhaustive making the mechanical functionality of the car as-new.
The body was removed from the frame, both were restored and beautifully finished in classic Roman Red. All parts were removed. The chrome and trim were all refinished and the car was fitted with all new rubber and canvas soft-top.
The body is razor straight, as we understand the car was already pretty clean when the restoration began. (Before photos included). It is a fantastic looking C1 with much care and attention paid to detail.
The interior was properly restored including new black leather seating, all panels, rugs, etc. The dash and gauges look great and a modern retro-style radio has been installed with an auxiliary input for use with any device. It's very comfortable for long drives and shows beautifully.
