Beautiful California Suicide Door Lincoln for Sale
Beautiful 1961 Lincoln Continental Convertible for sale. This suicide door Lincoln is absolutely stunning in the rare Royal Red Metallic with a gorgeous red leather interior.
It starts; runs and drives with all of the magnificence one would expect from this classic Lincoln Continental Convertible. Car originally from San Diego. It sold to the Midwest a few years ago, was partially restored then returned to California. The previous owner purchased and completed this beautiful restoration. Much more was done to the car than what is listed. This is a partial list of items he addressed:
- Fresh Paint
- Rebuilt Transmission
- New Top and Rebuilt Top Motor
- Curtis Foulk serviced the car including rear windows that drop and raise with the opening of the doors
- New control module for Heat and AC System
- Front bumper re-chromed and the wheel moldings and rocker moldings straightened and polished
- 2 New NOS tail light lenses
- 2 very rare rear quarter continental emblems (correct to 1961)
- Correct, Original set of hubcaps
- Clock Rebuilt by Clockworks
Current owner purchased and spent several thousand dollars this year on a variety of smaller items. The only items we are aware of needing attention now is that the air conditioning is losing freon, the period correct power antenna does not go up all of the way, the top being new is still a little tight and one must lightly push the header in order to complete the closing cycle.
This is without a doubt the most beautiful Lincoln Continental I have ever had in my inventory. It will undoubtedly make it's new owner very proud.
