Very nice 1960 Chevrolet C1 Corvette for sale. This St Louis built, California car has been owned by the same family since the 1980's who purchased the car here in California. It was restored in the late 1990's.
It has been enjoyed lightly and properly stored when not in use. This beautiful C1 is now looking for a new family. Over Corvette's 65 years of production, the C1 totals were by far the lowest in 1960 only 10,261 and the values are once again on the rise making the C1 a smart yet fun investment.
This particular car is finished in the rare and attractive Horizon Blue with Sateen Silver Coves and presents well. The chrome and stainless were redone at that time and still have a nice shine. The lenses, rubber, and glass all look good. The exterior has held up very nicely with very few blemishes over the years as the photos show. It's a very presentable car ready to enjoy and show off.
The interior was replaced at the time of restoration with a new, blue factory style interior including seating, rugs, panels and a beautiful light blue convertible top. It's very comfortable and includes it's Wonderbar Radio, Sun Shades, Heater, Dash Clock, Seatbelts, removable hardtop (not shown) and Courtesy Lights.
The car starts; runs and drives excellent with plenty of power, smooth running motor and good, tight suspension and braking. The engine is a 1964 283 CID 220 HP V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor, Mallory distributor and a Borg-Warner T-10 four-speed transmission.
As page 6 of the attached appraisal report denotes, this is a "very nice" to mostly "excellent" C1 Corvette. Click here to download. Please review all of the photos and content and feel free to contact me for additional information and thank you for looking.
