Very nice 1959 Volkswagen Beetle Coupe Type 1/11 for sale. Clean, nicely restored California car finished in a Capri Blue. This lovely example, car #2107209, was built in September of 1959 and is currently equipped with a 1957 single port beetle motor, number 1573300.
The title is clear and matches the bulkhead stamp and unmolested original data tag in the trunk. The car was restored somewhere around 2006-2009 and has been used sparingly and stored indoors. It was recently serviced to ensure its reliability.
The single port motor starts and runs strong and smooth. The shifting is good, and the suspension and brakes work as intended making this Type 1 easy and fun to drive.
The exterior is nicely finished in Capri blue. The body is straight and tidy. The trim is in good shape though the chrome on the bumpers is showing some age. The glass and rubber are in good condition, and the car looks terrific overall. It was good tires with plenty of treads.
The interior was redone in blue and white and shows well. The seats were nicely redone, and the matching door panels look great. It has its correct half batwing steering wheel and an excellent, newer headliner. The interior was repainted at the time of its restoration and shows well. The trunk is tidy, and the spare tire is present.
