This Classic Packard has SOLD
Rare 1958 Packard 58L for Sale
1958 Packard 58L 2-Door Hardtop for sale. Only 678 of these units were ever produced. It comes equipped with a 289 CID (4.7 Liter) V8 overhead-valve engine paired with a Flight-O-Matic automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, Am Radio, Spare Tire, Hub Caps, and Wide White Wall Bias Ply Tires. It has been stored for 29 years in a Northern California barn awaiting restoration. I purchased it a year ago along with many others. The odometer shows 67,007 though the actual mileage is unknown.
The 289 CID V8 Engine is paired with a Flight-O-Matic Automatic Transmission. The engine has not been tested/turned. The paint appears to have originally been black. The body is relatively good and while there is some rust present it looks to be infrastructurally sound with solid floors, frame, etc. Trim, chrome, glass, hubcaps, and lenses are all present though the flat glass on the left driver & passenger side is cracked. The interior looks to be complete and totally original and the trunk is solid and includes the jack & spare tire.
The car is located in Sonoma, California. We can assist in loading with some advance notice. It includes the clear, California title showing $149 in back fees due. The title also shows that the Year First Sold was 1958, usually indicative of the car selling new in the state of California.
