1958 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite Roadster for sale in Sonoma California. Complete frame-up restoration on this iconic Bugeye. Totally rebuilt engine, Rib cage transmission with disc brakes.

This is an early car estimated to be the 683rd car built. It is a fast, great handling car with standard 948cc engine modified to emulate the engine used by the factory in the 1958 twelve hour Sebring race which was used by the factory to premier it's new sports car.

Engine has a better breathing manifold system, larger exhaust valves, dual 1/4 inch SU carburetors and fitted with disc brakes for the race.

Old English White paint up from bare metal with all new red interior and rugs. All new wiring, generator, and regulator. New top, tonneau, and correct 1958 side curtains, steering wheel and jack. New suspension, bushings, radial tires, and countless other minor parts.

Car shown at the Carmel Concours while at the same time, driven in club events.
