Nice 1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale in Rare Willow Green with clean white and green interior. This is a D code car with the standard 312ci/Automatic and Includes soft and hardtop, tonneau cover, power steering, power brakes (added), factory optional engine dress up kit and town & country radio.

Car was originally ordered by an American Diplomat to Venezuela under Dwight D. Eisenhower, built then shipped to his home via Tag Lago Motors in Maracaibo, Venezuela in November of 1956, (hence the kilometer speedometer/odometer set up)

The second owner purchased it in 1969 and had shipped back to the states to Ely, Iowa where it was always garaged. In 1998 he rebuilt the transmission and brakes. In 2000 the car received it's first repaint in it's original Willow Green. At that time he replaced the weather stripping and a few other odds and ends.

The trunk mats and matching bags look new - they were replaced at some point as well. Car includes the build sheet and original paperwork showing this unusual history and a hand written letter by the second owner to the third in 2003 detailing it's history.

It now shows about 23k kilometers (actual 123k kilometers) which translates to about 76k original miles. Current owner has driven 2k miles since he purchased it in 2003 and has fastidiously maintained it since with many repair orders included.
