1957 Ford Thunderbird for Sale with 292ci V8 Engine

Great looking, nicely restored 1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale. This California car features a stunning turquoise paint finish, Soft and Hardtops, a newer Colonial White interior, a 3-speed manual transmission, power steering, Kelsey-Hayes-style wire wheels, and power disc brakes.

It has been nicely restored and includes a clear, California title, 100 pages of receipts and manuals dating back to 2010. The current owner, who acquired it in 2022, has used it sparingly, maintaining its excellent condition.

The Thunderbird is powered by its 292ci V8 engine, delivering ample power with smooth starts and strong performance. Paired with a 3-speed manual transmission and a 3.10:1 rear axle, it shifts effortlessly, complemented by a tight suspension and responsive braking.

Upgrades include a DBK-T front disc brake conversion, power steering, rear KYB gas shocks, an electric cooling fan, and a newer exhaust system, ensuring reliable and enjoyable driving dynamics. The undercarriage and engine compartment are clean and tidy.

The exterior, now finished in a vibrant turquoise, is in excellent condition with a deep, glossy shine and straight body panels. The chrome trim, weather stripping, and rubber components have been restored or replaced, and the cockpit feels like new. It rides on Kelsey-Hayes-style wire wheels wrapped with Coker Classic P205/75R15 radial Whitewall tires. The black vinyl top is in excellent condition and has nice visibility at the rear.

The newer interior, featuring pleated Colonial vinyl, black loop carpeting, clean headliner, panels, and cards, is in immaculate condition, with a new steering wheel, new instrument cluster, and upgraded heater core. The cabin is equipped with electric 2-speed wipers. All gauges and switches operate as intended, except the clock (please note that at the time of photographing, a new temperature sender was ordered, though not yet installed). This Thunderbird is comfortable for even the longest drives.
