Inca Gold 1957 Ford Thunderbird for Sale

1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale that was sold new at Geary Ford in San Francisco on January 31st, 1957 with the invoice price of $3,392.27. Highly optioned with Fordmatic Drive, power brakes and power steering, power seat, and power windows.

This special T-bird has remained in California since new and includes original invoice, correct and restored gold and black California license plates, brochures, awards, and repair orders from current ownership of now 11 years totaling over $30,000. Its first restoration was frame off in the 1990s.

The 312 cubic inch V8 starts and runs nicely with plenty of power. It has a rebuilt carburetor and generator, new sway bars, and has manually switched electronic fans for extra cooling on hot days. Power steering and brakes make it very nice to drive.

The exterior shows well and has a nice, glossy finish. During its current ownership, the car has been repainted in its original Inca Gold, The hard top has been restored and a new cloth black convertible top installed. It has a newer set of chrome wire wheels and Coker radial tires and looks fantastic.

Inside it has a beautiful interior with nice seating door cards, panels, and carpeting. Power windows and seat provide next-level comfort and the hardtop has a nice headliner and hardware. A Retrosound stereo with an AM/FM auxiliary was added as well.
