Very Cool 1956 Chevrolet Pickup 3100 Restomod for Sale

Mind-blowing 1956 Chevrolet Pickup 3100 Restomod for sale. This special 3100 build started as a well-preserved 60,000-mile original Southern California truck in 2014 and the build was completed around 2016. Since then it has traveled just over 1,000 miles.

This modern rendition includes a plethora of technology and creature comforts and looks amazing. It even wears its black and yellow plates which were required to replace the yellow plates with black lettering in 1962. 100 plus pages of the builders' parts receipts are available for download here.

It is equipped for performance with a balanced crate Ramjet 350 with Fuel Port Injection, MEFI engine controller including wiring harness, hydraulic roller cam, Vortec iron heads and a 9 to 4:1 compression ratio, cast iron with two main Bolt main caps, cast iron crankshaft, powder metal steel connecting rods, aluminum pistons, hydraulic roller, 1.940 intake valves, aluminum roller rocker arms, with a maximum RPM of 5500.

Shifting is spot-on with its 700R4 transmission attached to the rear with a Dynotech driveshaft and 9" rear end. With the rigidity of the TCI frame, the independent front suspension, and 4-wheel discs with Wilwood brakes the ride and handling are outstanding.

The exterior is razor straight, fully disassembled, and beautifully finished in this striking black and silver combo. The panel alignments are excellent and the chrome, trim, and glass have all been either refreshed or replaced. It rides on black 5-spoke US Mags wrapped in 275/55 ZR20s in the rear and 235/40 R18s upfront.

The cab is overflowing with modern creature comforts, ice-cold air conditioning, and a RetroSound Apache radio with AM/FM, USB, SD, and MP3 playback. It has dual power 60/40 leather seating with a fold-down armrest, high-end carpeting, power windows, fully digital instrumentation, and tilt steering. This is an incredibly comfortable truck that could be used for long road trips or even daily driving.
