This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Sedan, assembled in Oakland, CA (VIN VC550072830), was originally finished in India Ivory over Skyline Blue with a Light Blue and Dark Blue cloth/vinyl interior (Trim #513). Purchased in Los Angeles around 2010 after over 20 years of storage by its previous owner, it underwent a frame-on restoration.
The 350 V8 engine, paired with a Turbo 400 Hydramatic transmission and B&M shift kit, provides robust performance. It features an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, Holley intake manifold, chrome valve covers, and a heavy-duty aluminum radiator.
It is equipped with a rebuilt 10-bolt rear end, and the dual Flowmaster exhaust delivers a distinctive sound. Excellent stopping power and handling with power front and rear disc brakes. Power steering, KYB gas shocks, newer coil springs, a front sway bar, a Painless wiring harness, and electronic ignition, the car ensures reliable handling and operation.
The exterior is finished in Bright Red with a 2-inch front drop and 1-inch rear blocks for a refined stance. It rides on Classic American Racing 5-spoke rims with Nexen N7000 radials (275/40ZR17 rear, 235/45ZR17 front, with 80-90% tread remaining).
The body and undercarriage are rust-free, complemented by tinted windows and a power antenna. The car is always garaged and kept clean and ready to enjoy.
The black interior features low-pile carpeting, cloth seats with front and rear seatbelts, and an Ididit tilt column. Original gauges are bypassed for functional under-dash gauges (amps, oil, temperature—all illuminated) and a Mallory column-mount RPM gauge. It has a Retrosound stereo system with auxiliary input and multiple speakers. All interior components are in good working condition.
