1954 Chevrolet Belair Coupe for sale. This special preservation car left the factory in light blue with a blue interior, Torque Flight automatic transmission, and power steering. It has an oil change sticker showing service in 1983 at 16,136 and now has 32,769, haven only been driven 16,633 miles in the last 38 years.
I do not know if the odometer has turned, but clearly, it has had very little use. It includes a period-correct under-dash tissue dispenser, Retrosound radio, steering assist knob, and a newer set of seatbelts front and rear.
The inline 6-cylinder Blue Flame motor starts up and runs strong. It has its original air filter setup, a newer battery. It shifts through the gears well, and the braking and suspension function well. Overall it is a good driving car.
The exterior is solid and tidy with a few scuffs and blemishes, yet overall looks quite nice. It appears to have had one respray of its original light blue and has a good shine to it. The trim, chrome, and glass appear to be original. It has a newer set of whitewall P215/75R15 tires riding on its original steel rims with hubcaps. The undercarriage is equally solid with excellent floors and nice, rust-free inner rocker panels and quarters. It is very solid and virtually rust-free.
Inside is mostly original, including carpeting, panels, headliner. I am not sure if the front seat was redone at some point or if its original plastic cover was recently removed as it looks quite nice, and the rear seat still sports what looks to be the original plastic covering. The trunk has a nice correct rubber mat and original trim cars, spare, and a jack.
This is a fun classic Chevrolet Belair, a cool preservation car looking for a new home for the next chapter of its pampered life.
