Fun old 1953 MGTD for sale finished in British Racing Green with its original green leather interior. This car is equipped with its original numbers matching engine, full top and side curtains, fog, driving, and running lamps, and a luggage rack. It was recently removed from long-term storage, and over $5000 was spent to put it back on the road after a long hibernation.

The exterior wears a nice patina on its British racing green exterior. It is complete and nicely accessorized with a rear luggage rack, full top and side curtains, fog, driving, and running lamps. The top is in good condition, and the fitment is excellent, including the side curtains.

The paint is aged with some chips and scratches, much of which could be dramatically improved with deep detailing and polishing. The steel rims and hubcaps are in great shape though the old bias-ply tires will need to be replaced. Overall it has a charming, original vibe.

Inside is mostly original with lovely green leather seating and a nice dash wood. It has working oil pressure and amp gauges, water temperature gauge, and odometer. The RPM gauge, wipers, and speedometer do not work. The heater is working along with the horn and blinkers.

The original numbers matching engine fires right up and runs strong. It was recently refreshed to ensure reliability. The shifting is good through all of the gears, and the braking is responsive. It's a strong runner.
