1952 MGTD for sale from Left Coast Classics. Stunning Mineral Blue with Dove Gray Leather Interior. Produced in May of 1952 and purchased by previous owner in summer of 2006 after undergoing a major frame-off restoration which included an MG 1800 conversion complete with a sycromesh "B" transmission.
This stunning TD is the perfect combination of old world British charm and the ever desirable MGB drive-train replacing the stock 1,250 cc (1.3 L) XPAG type I4 which only had a top speed of 77 mph and 57hp, it has noticeably more power with the 1800cc engine with an increase of over 60% in horsepower at about 94hp. The shifting is tight and smooth with it's "B" syncromesh 4-speed. The TD came stock with independent suspension and rack and pinion steering so it can easily handle the increased horsepower and is fun to drive!
Beautifully finished in Mineral Blue with a stunning, high-quality gray leather interior. Upgraded 15" Chrome spoke wheels, beautiful chrome all around and excellent panel fitment make this special "TD 1800" a real head-turner. Top frame and hardware included.
I'm excited to offer the nicest TD I've had in my inventory since opening Left Coast Classics in 2004.
