Very nice 1952 Buick Super Model 59 Woodie Estate Wagon for sale. This California car was one of 1,641 produced, this one assembled in Flint, Michigan. It was nicely restored during the 1990s and has been well-maintained since. It comes with a plethora of documentation dating all the way back to 1966 in Los Angeles. With an original base price of $2,871, this Buick Estate Wagon was a "going to town" car with plenty of utility to boot!
The exterior is clean and tidy with a clean, straight, rust-free body, beautiful smooth paint with a deep shine, attractive wood, chrome, glass, and trim. It rides on proper steel rims finished in red with Buick hubcaps and 15" bias-ply whitewalls. Overall it is a lovely-looking car.
Inside was nicely restored and shows little use with beautiful era-correct seating surfaces, carpet, headliner, door cards, and panels. The dash, gauges, and steering wheel appear to be original and well-preserved. All gauges and ancillary items are in working order, along with the radio, wipers, blinkers, and lights. The heater fan is currently inoperable. The rear cargo area is attractive with beautiful wood and trim and spare tire tucked away in its tidy stowaway.
Under the hood is clean and well-sorted. The 8 Cylinder 263ci 2-barrel 124 horsepower Fireball Dynaflash Eight runs like a clock with no smoking or funny noises and starts easily even after hibernation. The automatic transmission shifts right-on-point, and braking and suspension all feel good, carrying this 206 inch, 4,100 lb icon down the road with ease. The car runs nice and cool even during long idle sessions in warm weather, and the emergency brake holds and releases properly.
This special old Buick also includes a plethora of spare parts, documentation, books, and manuals.
