1951 MG TD for Sale

Beautiful restored 1951 MG TD for sale from Left Coast Classics in Sonoma California. This is the 1951 M.G. TD (Midget) with Marshall supercharger. Beautiful Red paint with tan leather interior in a classic 1950's sports car color combo.

This beastly little car is incredible to drive with 100 hp delivered from its 4 cylinder engine with the addition of the rare Marshall supercharger.

This 1951 MG has engine number TD/4045 meaning it has the original 1250cc XPAG engine before the changeover in the summer of 1951. The standard 1250cc XPAG engine of the MG TC and early MG TD received modifications to accommodate a larger clutch in July of 1951. The engine number prefix was changed to TD2, and MG TDs that are fitted with this engine have become known as TD2 models among enthusiasts.

The changeover occurred at engine number XPAG/TD2/9408. (The TD2 differs from the MG TD Mark II or TD Competition Model which was also produced at the same time).
