This incredible 1951 Ford Truck has SOLD
We have a 1951 Ford F1 5-Star Cab Flathead 6 for sale with an incredible frame-off restoration. This truck was purchased by current owner 15 years ago with just 77,000 original miles from the second owner in Northern California. This is a concourse Quality Dearborn Truck and has earned the prestigious Dearborn award 4 times! It has been shown in the Early Ford V8 club at Pismo Beach, Dana Point and Hood River, Oregon.
Car was completed 9 years ago and has seen about 4000 miles since completion. Current actual mileage on this truck is 82,700. It has been stored in a heated environment. It looks absolutely freshly restored. At least $35,000 was spent doing a total frame-off restoration that took about four years to complete.
The truck was rust free and accident free from new so there are no patch panels and bondo anywhere to be found. The color is an exact match to the original.
This is the exact original configuration except for the chrome bumpers and chrome tailgate chain. The engine has been completely rebuilt and set up for unleaded fuel. In addition, the transmission and rear-end were gone through as well. Everything on this truck was either replaced or rebuilt. Even the leaf springs were disassembled, re-painted individually and re-assembled!
Note the Dual sun visors, dual arm rests, 2-speed electric wipers, dome lamp; beautiful, original steering wheel, correct seating and more. Even the build sheet is tucked behind the seat!
All tools, jack, etc are in the truck and restored also! You won't find a better specimen anywhere and you could not buy and build this truck now for less than 50K.
