Frame-Off Restoration 1-Family Owned 56 Years

1947 Triumph 1800 for Sale

Stunning 1947 Triumph 1800 2 Door Roadster for sale. One of the very last Last production cars produced in the UK with fold-up "Dickie" seats. Designed by Sir John Black to compete with the forthcoming Jaguar XK120.

This special car was purchased in Switzerland 56 years ago in 1959 by the same family that owns it now. Treated to a stunning high-end, concours restoration with just 2,000 miles logged since it's completion in 1995.

The extensive, body off frame restoration included all rebuilt mechanicals, the original 3 Litre Vanguard engine, 4-cylinder 1776ci engine, 4-speed manual gearbox and all other systems. The appraiser in 1997 wrote "Professionally restored to championship standards, no expense spared. This is a true condition 1 show car, both mechanically and cosmetically".

Rare opportunity to own a beautiful and rare, investment-grade Triumph 1800 with a short list of owners and a stunning restoration.
