We have a nice 1957 Austin Healey 100-6 BN4 for sale. Current owner since early 80's, purchased from the original owner. This has been a California car since new.
Restoration began at that time and continued over the next 10 years or so. Original motor was rebuilt around 8000 miles ago. Transmission has over-drive and shifts well. The car starts; runs and drives nicely with plenty of power, tight suspension, excellent braking, etc. All gauges are in working order except the fuel gauge.
The leather interior was purchased new from England and is in very nice condition. The carpets are Wilton wool. The top is a few years old and has only been up a few times. The rear window is clear with no haze. Tonneau is new as well. The wheels are 60 spoke chrome wires and in terrific shape. No broken spokes and excellent, newer tires.
The paint was completed several years ago. It is a basecoat/clearcoat. The clearcoat is deteriorating and there are bubbles and imperfections. The paint would be best described as a good "20-footer".
The car has a brilliant shine but when you get up close, the clearcoat issues are evident. The floors were replaced in the 80's. The car has no rust and is very solid and tight. I have about 180 additional pictures in the slideshow area just of the body. Be sure to take a look.
